Municipal Race Candidates for Area Towns

Montgomery, Al. (WSFA) -- Qualifying is over for municipal elections and WSFA 12 News has gathered a list of candidates running for mayor in some or our outlying cities and towns.

In Greenville, the incumbent Dexter Mclendon is being challenged by Gerald Johnson.

In Andalusia, incumbent Jerry Andrews is facing former mayor Earl Johnson.

Prattville's current mayor, Jim Byard, is being challenged by Donald Green,Jr.

Opelika's incumbent mayor, Gary Fuller, faces off against Rainer Meadows.

Wetumpka's mayor, Jo Glenn, will not seek reelection so Errol Law and Jerry Willis will face off for the seat.

The mayors of Troy, Millbrook, and Pike Road are unopposed.
