MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce is preparing to bid farewell to Alabama's longtime Second District Congressman, Terry Everett.
The Chamber will hold its final Eggs and Issues Breakfast with Everett on August 4th.
"Terry Everett has served the people of District 2 well, and the Chamber is delighted to have the opportunity to show him once more how grateful we are for his leadership," said 2008 Chairman of the the Chamber Board of Directors, Charlie Paterson.
Everett's soon-to-be vacated seat is being sought by Montgomery Mayor Bobby Bright (D) and Alabama Representative Jay Love (R).
The breakfast will be held Monday, August 4th, at 7:30am at the RSA Activity Center.
