Stray cat named "Princess Chunk"

In New Jersey a precious feline is so plump she almost sets a world record.
The fat cat has been nicknamed "Princess Chunk."

The 44 pound cat was brought to the Camden County Animal Shelter as a stray.

Animal rescue officials say she's just two pounds shy of the world record for fattest cat.

That record was set by a Tabby in Australia, who weighed 46 pounds, 15 ounces.

Princess Chunk was brought to the shelter Saturday and will be up for adoption next Saturday if no one claims her.
