MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Alabama State University will go before an NCAA infractions committee Friday.
ASU is charged with numerous rule violations.
Now, the school is trying to show the committee it's back on track.
Last week the university officially responded to the violations that allegedly took place between 1999 and 2003.
Most of the violations stem from the football program, accusing them of allowing ineligible student athletes to practice, play and receive financial aid.
The violations also claim players and recruits were given money for entertainment, food, utilities and housing.
