Greenville Middle School opens in time for school

Greenville, AL (WSFA) -- It was close, but today a newly renovated Greenville Middle School opened it's doors on time for the first day of school on Friday.

The work began in May. Workers literally gutted the school and started over. The $2 million dollar project was completed in just over two months in time for the first bell.

Butler County School officials are also currently overseeing a $30 million dollar school construction project which includes schools in Greenville and Georgiana.
