A Ticket for Two: Who Will Obama Pick as VP?

Journalists, politicos and voters all over America are anxiously awaiting Friday night with phones and blackberries in hand.

They are waiting to see who Barack Obama picks as his running mate.

The announcement's expected by text message before noon Saturday.

Obama spent Friday at home in Chicago.

McCain meanwhile vacationed in Arizona.

Neither campaigned Friday, but their campaigns are in full swing, trading jabs over the airwaves.

"Celebrities don't have to worry about family budgets, but we sure do."

That's the latest ad from John McCain who this week couldn't remember how many homes he owns.

Democrats rallied outside one of those homes Friday in Virginia.

"This is reminiscent of George Bush the first going through the checkout line and having no idea how much milk costs," said one democrat.

McCain claims Barack Obama's got a bigger problem, Tony Rezko.

He's the friend who helped obama buy this Chicago home.

Now, he's a convicted felon, facing jail.

The heiress' husband and the four-million dollar a year politician are both trying to convince voters they understand ordinary Americans.

"If you only have one house and having trouble to make the mortgage payment then the economy looks awful different," said Obama.

Obama's planning to text message his pick for V.P.

Obama confirms he's made up his mind, but won't say who.

"You're not going to get anything out of me," said Obama.

We'll know before the democrats meet next week in Denver.

Speculation about McCain's running mate seems to be focused on Mitt Romney.

Sources tell NBC no final decision's been made, and no announcement's expected this weekend.
