MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The jury in the Mario Woodward capital murder case is back with a verdict this afternoon.
After just four hours of deliberation the twelve men and women returned with a vote of "guilty" against Woodward.
Woodward was found guilty of one count Capital Murder of a Police Officer and one count Using a Deadly Weapon Inside a Vehicle.
The sentencing phase will begin Tuesday morning. Woodward could face life in prison or the death penalty.
