Did Crops Survive Fay?

Montgomery, AL (WSFA)- Farmers and cattlemen across the state needed rain, and it looks like they got it. But, did it do more harm than good?

Perry Mobley and ALFA spokesman says the heavy rain pounded some cotton and corn crops to the ground. And some areas in Northwest and Northeast Alabama could still use some rain. But overall, the rain was welcome.

Mobley says it will be one or two weeks before they know the real effect from Fay.
