No. 10 Auburn trots out new offense against ULM

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - The Auburn Tigers are trying to avoid becoming another Louisiana-Monroe upset victim in the state. The Warhawks visit the 10th-ranked Tigers Saturday night in the season opener for both teams.

Their last trip to the state ended with an upset of the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2007. Auburn will trot out both Kodi Burns or Chris Todd at quarterback to operate the new spread offense. Which one starts is a mystery.

The Warhawks are 26-point underdogs. They're also 0-15 alltime against ranked teams and have won only three of the previous 33 games against Southeastern Conference teams. Auburn coaches have spent plenty of time reminding their players of Alabama's fate last season.
