MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Investigators are searching for the suspect who held-up a Montgomery area bank Wednesday morning.
Around 11:20am police say a man walked into the Compass Bank on Patton Avenue and slipped a note to one of the tellers demanding money. Investigators say the note indicated the suspect had a weapon, though one was never shown.
The man got away on foot with an unknown amount of cash.
The robber is described as being between 30-40 years old, approximately 5'6" tall and 120 pounds. He was wearing a red University of Georgia baseball cap, and a red and brown long sleeve flannel shirt at the time of the robbery.
Police are looking over surveillance video of the suspect, but there isn't much other information at this time.
