Diversity Summit

Several business leaders in the River Region came together Thursday to learn how diversity in the workplace can move the Capitol City forward.

The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce held it's first Diversity Summit. The two day event is part of the chamber's plan for economic growth.

During Thursday's luncheon the speaker, a self made millionaire, motivated the audience to become educated on business strategies and to become what he called "actionaires."

More than five hundred people attended the luncheon. The summit wraps up Friday with "Networking on the Green."
