Recall issued on 600,000 baby cribs

Approximately 600,000 Simplicity brand drop side cribs are being recalled after it was determined the drop side can come off its tracks.

Experts says that can create a hazardous gap that could trap or suffocate a small child.

The recall included the "Aspen and Crib N' Changer Combo","Gabrielle", "Camille", "Providence" and "Shenandoah" models.

These cribs were sold at many stores from January 2005 until August 2008.

If you own one of these cribs, return it to the store were you bough it for a store credit.

The recalled model numbers include: 8620, 8745, 8748, 8755, 8756, 8778, 8810, and 8994. The recalled drop side cribs have a date code, which can be found on a label on the headboard under the mattress support, which ends in 05DH, 05GB, 06DH, 06GB, 07DH or 07GB
