Dothan, Ala. (WSFA) -- It was an early morning for the Dothan police department. Officers were out on the streets rounding up over 30 suspects with outstanding drug warrants in the ongoing operation Circle City Crackdown.
It was a shock for some Dothan residents when the early morning knock on their door turned out to be the Police.
Wednesday morning Dothan police officers hit to streets to serve 33 arrest warrants for outstanding drug charges.
Those charges ranged from unlawful possession of a controlled substance to possession in first degree.
"Marijuana, cocaine, crack, meth, and pills have been taken off our streets and keep away from our children," said Dothan Police Chief John Powell.
In all 15 people were arrested in the ongoing operation Circle City Crackdown.
This operation has resulted in numerous arrests and the seizure of large quantities of drugs and firearms
Police say countless man hours have gone in to this investigation.
"Credit goes to the whole department," said Powell.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and need your help in locating individuals who are still on the streets.
