North Ala. man sought in killing over video game

JASPER, Ala. (AP) - Authorities are searching for an Empire man wanted in the death of his brother-in-law, who was shot during an argument over a portable video game.

Walker County Sheriff John Mark Tirey said a murder warrant has been issued for 33-year-old Chris Dewayne Williams Sr. Williams is a suspect in the shooting death of 38-year-old Michael Alan Dean, also of Empire.

The men apparently got into an argument over a portable video game and it escalated, leading to the shooting.

Witnesses said Williams fled on foot into a wooded area.

A message left with Tirey wasn't immediately returned Friday.
