Slow Cookers hearty beef stew

Your family will love the home-style flavor of Hearty Beef Stew.  For a quick start, trim the meat and cut the veggies into pieces the night before, then refrigerate until you're ready to start cooking.  Just remember to cover the potatoes with water.

Makes 8 servings.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH 
 

2 pounds beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
5 cups cut-up fresh vegetables, such as carrots, celery, onions and potatoes
1 package McCormick® Slow Cookers Hearty Beef Stew Seasoning
1 1/3 cups water


1.  Place beef and vegetables in slow cooker.

2.  Mix Seasoning and water until blended.  Pour over beef and vegetables; toss to coat well.  Cover.

3.  Cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH.  Stir before serving.

IMPORTANT:  For best results, do not remove cover during cooking.
