Tuberville: Lester OK to play against Tennessee

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville says tailback Brad Lester will be ready to play Saturday against Tennessee.

Tuberville said Tuesday that Lester had no damage to his knee.

He also said return man and running back Tristan Davis was still suffering from a headache after getting kicked in his head in the loss to LSU.

Tuberville expects both to play.

He said he saw plenty of things to be encouraged about on offense and defense against LSU. He said his players have done a good job of moving on from the tough loss.

Quarterback Chris Todd passed for 250 yards in the game but was intercepted twice.

Todd said he thinks the offense made big strides from the previous week.
