Dothan, Ala. (WSFA) - The Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services held the annual Governors Committee luncheon Friday in Dothan.

The group honors those with disabilities who work in the community and employers who help those with disabilities get jobs.

Alabama's Biggest Loser, Roger Shultz was the guest speaker at the event, which honors the accomplishment of those who have handicaps.

"To have a job and to work, and to go to work is therapeutic.  and when you contribute to the economy and your able to do something that somebody told you couldn't do, that's important and that's what matters," said Angeila Scarborough with the ADRS.

This is the 20th year that this awards luncheon has been held.
