Montgomery, Ala. (WSFA) -- A sixty mile journey to raise awareness for world hunger ended at the steps of Capitol Hill on Sunday. On Friday, a group of Auburn students part of a group called the Committee of 19 took off on a hunger march. They walked all the way from Auburn to the Capital City.
The students are working in partnership with the world food program.
Students tell WSFA 12 News that every five seconds a child starves to death and that made their long journey worthwhile.
