MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Investigators say they've interviewed the family a woman found murdered Tuesday and are looking at every possible lead, but admit they aren't much closer to finding her killer.

A man picking pecans on Early Street Tuesday afternoon found 32-year-old Stephanie Miller's body.

Miller was lying in a vacant lot when the man found her. Authorities say it appears she died from blunt force trauma to the head.

A WSFA 12 News photographer recorded authorities on the scene Tuesday removing what appeared to be a large brick, thought it is not confirmed whether the object is considered the murder weapon.

Investigators have not given a possible motive in the woman's death or identified any possible suspects.

Miller is the capital city's 21st homicide of 2008.

WSFA 12 News will have more information on this developing story as it becomes available.
