Dothan, AL (WSFA) -- Keep the popcorn coming! Because the fans are coming out in droves.
Today's opening of High School Musical 3 is only the beginning of a big weekend for Northside Cinemas in Dothan.
The theater has not only presold more than 500 tickets for the weekend, but is hosting 15 birthday parties. And Jessie Williams is more excited about the movie than turning ten years old.
"I'm most excited about seeing this movie because I've been waiting since the previews came out," Jessie says.
But she's not the only one. Jessie's mom has seen the first two movies, and now with the third, the feeling is the same.
"I just like watching the dancing and stuff," says Amy Williams.
But for some girls, the dancing is only part of the intrigue. Most of them say Troy Bolton, the star of the show, is their favorite.
And luckily for the fans in Dothan, the High School Musical fun doesn't end with the theater. SEACT, the Southeast Alabama Community Theater, is holding auditions November 15-17 for a High School Musical on stage.
