Bus vs. car crash send 5 to hospital

DALE COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - The Alabama Department of Public Safety says five people were injured in a car vs. bus crash near Ozark.

The accident happened around 8:40am Monday and a preliminary report shows that the bus and a 1982 Mercury collided on County Road 20 approximately 4 miles south of Ozark.

The victims are identified as James L. Cummings, 56, of Ozark and Tyrone Randolph, 45; Christopher Hinshaw, 23; Sandra Beall, 36; and Ursullar Morris, 39, all of Midland City.

Each of the victims was taken to Dale County Medical Center.

Their exact injuries are unknown at this time. Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the accident.
