Auburn High grad could be next White House Press Secretary

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A man with ties to Alabama may be heading to the White House with our new president.

Robert Gibbs,37, was the Communications Director in Barack Oama's presidential campaign and is also a key Obama strategist.

There is speculation that Gibbs will becomes President-elect Obama's White House press secretary.

Gibbs grew up in Auburn and is a 1989 Auburn High School graduate.

He's also a graduate of North Carolina State University.

Gibbs has worked for Mr. Obama since 2004.
