Montgomery, Ala. (WSFA) -- Alabama's U.S. Senators are now cutting off ticket requests for President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration.
Thousands of people have deluged Senators Richard Shelby and Jeff Sessions asking for tickets to the January 20th historic event.
Laura Henderson, spokeswoman for Sen. Shelby, says thousands of requests had been made for the tickets.
The exact number of tickets issued to members of congress has not been set.
