Auburn resumes work for Alabama game

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - The Auburn Tigers returned to the practice fields after two days off.

The Tigers practiced for two hours at Jordan-Hare Stadium Sunday afternoon. Coach Tommy Tuberville said most of that time was used to start putting the gameplan in for Saturday's game at No. 1 Alabama.

He said Auburn will practice at the stadium all week. Tuberville said kicker Wes Byrum returned to handle some short kicks. His status is still uncertain for the game with knee problems.
