Local cheerleaders jump start Macy's Parade

Some 3.5 million spectators lined the streets of Manhattan Thursday to watch the 82nd Annual Macy's Thanksgiving day parade.  Four cheerleaders from Horseshoe Bend High School in New Site kicked off the parade.

Part of the "Spirit of America" cheer group, Ashley Denney, Jordan Gilliland, Porcsha Hooks, and Victoria Peppers joined hundreds of other high school cheerleaders from around the nation.

More than one million spectators watched this year's parade from the street with another 50 million watching on T. V.
