Saban statement regarding Tuberville situation

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Number one ranked Alabama's head football coach Nick Saban made the following statement after practice Wednesday in regards to the Tuberville situation:

"I really question some of the judgment relative to how it is for our game that people who have those kinds of relationships and have done that kind of job and affected so many people in a positive way and have had a reasonable amount of success relative to their circumstances, would not be given more respect and consideration that what these guys have been. So I guess we're 5-7 away from the same thing."

Saban's football team pulled an undefeated season in 2008, just two years into the head coach's tenure. Alabama beat Auburn in the Iron Bowl with a score of 36-0.

Tuberville resigned his position as the Tigers' head coach Wednesday after a decade of strong seasons, including the undefeated 2004 season.
