Momma Goldberg robbery suspect arrested

AUBURN, AL (WSFA) - Auburn police have arrested a suspect in the Momma Goldberg's Deli robbery.

Thirty-eight year old Roosevelt Williams, Jr. of Auburn is now charged with Robbery 1st degree.

Police are looking for 47-year-old Kevin Mccall, also of Auburn, who is also charged with robbery.

The owner says there were about six customers inside the restaurant when the suspects came in just minutes before closingtime.

"Two guys came in, went to our bathroom and put on masks," said owner Don Dement. "They came out and held the manager at gunpoint and said open the register. She did and they took the cash out..."

Williams is in the Lee County Jail on a $100,000 bond. If you know where police can find McCall, please call the Auburn Police Department at (334) 501-7337.
