Santa letters not so cheerful this year

Letters to Santa Claus have started to flow into post offices, but some postal workers tasked with helping the Jolly Old Elf make his list say the letters aren't so cheerful this holiday season.

Postal workers in Boston say they are seeing an increase in letters to Santa from families in need.

With the economy on a downward turn and job loss at an all time high, kids are asking for winter coats, shoes, food, and even jobs for their parents.

The Post Office works with several organizations to help deliver gifts to needy children who write to Santa.
