AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn University students and alumni are protesting the school's treatment of former football coach Tommy Tuberville.
About 70 people marched to the president's mansion on the campus Tuesday.
They said they came out to show support for Tuberville and to protest what they believe was his forced exit by university officials.
Protest organizer Taylor Jones of Montgomery said he believes Tuberville was forced to resign and that school officials haven't been truthful in saying the coach quit on his own.
During the protest, demonstrators chanted Tuberville's name, sang the school's fight song and said they planned to show up at the next trustee's meeting.
