Child porn confession gets man 480 years in prison

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - A Montevallo man has been sentenced to 480 years in federal prison after he pleaded guilty to child pornography charges.

The U.S Attorney's Office in Birmingham said Tuesday's sentence was given to 43-year-old James Shawn Hulsey.

He pleaded guilty to charges that he used a female infant and a 2-year-old boy to produce child pornography.

U.S. Attorney Alice Martin said in a statement Hulsey "deserved every day of the sentence for sexually abusing the children."
