1 medium onion, finely chopped 1/2 bunch green onions 1 small bell pepper 1 or 2 sticks butter 1/2 lb. bulk sausage (optional) 1 package Pepperidge Farm corn bread and herb stuffing 2 cups well seasoned chicken broth 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 cup minced fresh parsley Tabasco Worcestershire sauce salt and pepper, to taste
Finely chop all vegetables except the parsley in butter. Brown sausage and add to mix. If omitting sausage from recipe, use two sticks of butter.
Place Pepperidge Farm dressing mix into large bowl. Add chicken broth. Mix in vegetables, egg, fresh parsley and seasonings to taste.
