Covering Coffee County: Enterprise Police investigate deadly car accident

ENTERPRISE, AL., (WSFA) -- The Enterprise Police Department is investigating a two vehicle accident that resulted in one injury and one fatality. Witnesses stated that a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville driven by 73 year old Nora Cannon of Enterprise, attempted to cross the Boll Weevil Circle after exiting the Mr. Henry's Convenience Store when it was struck by a 2006 Mercury Monterey van driven by 44 year old Lisa Blue of Kinston. Cannon was transported to the Medical Center Enterprise where she died a few minutes later from her injuries. Blue was transported to the Medical Center Enterprise with a minor injury to her leg. Two passengers in the van were uninjured.
