Zamboni had an accident

A little mishap at Wrigley Field in Chicago Thursday as the Zamboni arrived for the big NHL "Winter Classic" scheduled for New Years Day.

Luckily, the driver was not inured.

As it was rolling off the truck, the brakes on the second Zamboni failed.

But the machine and its driver, the United Center's Danny Ahern, are ok.

Construction of the rink for the New Years day game, between the Blackhawks and the Detroit Red Wings is well underway and ahead of schedule.

Building this outdoor rink, somewhere between second base and the pitcher's mound, will require 52,000 sheets of plywood.

The ice will be made from 20,000 gallons of water, 350 gallons of paint will make it white but the NHL says it is all worth it.
