Well, here's something you might see a year from now when we recap the bizarre stories of 2009.

Thousands of shows were strewn across a highway in Miami Friday morning.

The heels, flats, sneakers and boots caused quite a mess during the morning rush hour.

The highway patrol responded to the scene, and swept the shoes out of the way.

Officials are baffled because there are no signs of a crash, no one has claimed the shoes, and there is no indication of any sort of protest.
