Covering Pike County: Troy Professor Dies

Troy, AL (WSFA) - A popular professor at Troy University's main campus has passed away.

A spokesman tells WSFA 12 News Christopher Warden died Sunday night. Warden was the Hall School of Journalism and Communication's Primary Print Journalism professor. We are told he slipped at his home last week, broke his hip, and died from surgery complications at U.A.B.

There is no word yet on funeral arrangements.
