Montgomery, AL (WSFA) - Albert Wilding was back in a Montgomery court on Monday for pre-trial motions. He is accused of killing his wife about 10 years ago.
The Circuit Court Clerk now tells WSFA 12 News Wilding's trial is set to start on January 26th in Judge Charles Prices' courtroom.
For now, the 79-year-old man is in the Montgomery County Jail without bond on a capital murder for hire charge. Prosecutors believe Wilding is responsible for his wife's death even though Judie Wilding's body has never been found.
Wilding has pleaded not guilty.
