MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Former Southern California defenders will play a big role in the Senior Bowl.
Five Trojans are on the South defense for Saturday's game for top senior NFL prospects at Mobile's Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
Plus South coach Jack Del Rio of the Jacksonville Jaguars is a former USC defensive star.
The USC representatives include linebacker Rey Maualuga, a first-team AP All-American who won the Chuck Bednarik Award as the nation's top defensive player.
Fellow linebackers Brian Cushing and Clay Matthews are also on the South team.
So are USC defensive linemen Fili Moala and Kyle Moore.
