MPD arrest suspects for drug trafficking and possession

MONTGOMERY, AL., (WSFA) -- Undercover officers from the Special Operations Division purchased 1365 grams of Marijuana from a subject at 6342 Taylor Ridge Road. Immediately after this purchase was conducted, a search warrant was executed on the residence. 

Officers confiscated 325.4 grams of marijuana and 3.4 grams of powder cocaine from inside the residence. 

Jason Postell, of 6342 Taylor Ridge Road, was taken into custody and charged with Trafficking in Marijuana and Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

Angela Bowen, of 901 Claud Road in Eclectic, Alabama, was also taken into custody and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Ms. Bowen had 1.1 grams of powder cocaine and 3.6 grams of marijuana in her possession.

The total street value of the confiscated illegal narcotics is $17,050.
