Free tax filing service offered for working families

Montgomery, Ala. (WSFA) -- Looking for help preparing your taxes? Montgomery area colleges and IMPACT Alabama want to help area working families file for free.

Huntingdon College, Jones School of Law, Troy University-Montgomery and IMPACT Alabama will provide free income tax preparation services to families making less than $42,000 a year with kids in the home. 

The free service is also available to those who earn $20,000 without kids in the home.

From now until February 28th, You can go by the Jubilee Community Center in Montgomery for help Tuesdays and Wednesdays from noon until 8:00 p.m. and on Fridays until 6:00 p.m.   On Saturdays, you can stop by between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
