Sales tax revenue numbers are down yet again. Acting Mayor Charles Jinright says the city lost around ten percent -- or about a million dollars --- in taxes this past Christmas season over the year before.  Jinright blames retailer discounts for the losses, not shoppers.

Jinright says he expects tax revenues to increase in coming months as stores return to their normal pricing.
