MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A true inspiration. That's what audience members called for Crimson Tide football star Siran Stacy Sunday night. Stacy could have given up on life after losing his wife and four of his children in an automobile accident in 2007.
Instead, he made it his mission to tour the country and share how his tragedy transformed his life and brought him closer to God.
Sunday, the former football star inspired the hundreds of people in attendance to hear his presentation at Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church.
"He's a living testimony," said church member Robert Spicer. "When you come through something like that, it's preparing you for a greater world, that's what he's doing, he said he'll go anywhere and spread the good news."
Over 3,400 people took in Stacy's testimony Sunday night.
