Registered sex offender accused of raping a six year old girl

MONTGOMERY, AL., -- An anonymous tip to the Montgomery Police Department stated that an unknown six year old female had been raped over the weekend.

After an investigation was conducted by Juvenile detectives, results confirmed that an offense occurred and the victim was able to identify the suspect. 

Registered sex offender Calvin Green, age 37, of 3228 Margaret Ann Drive was the alleged suspect. He was taken into custody by Montgomery police. Green's parole officer was notified and warrants were signed on him for Violation of Probation and Violation of the Community Notification Act.

Green has an extensive criminal history that includes multiple sexual related offenses

Chief A.D. Baylor stated that, "This is yet another case of a repeat offender who has preyed upon an innocent child in our community. I truly hope that this time he will be held in jail until he can be dealt with severely by the criminal justice system."
