Lee County manslaughter conviction

A Lee County teenager accused of shooting his best friend, is found guilty of manslaughter.  A jury found Russell Jackson guilty.  Lee County deputies say Jackson was playing a gun when he shot and killed 19 year old Jeffrey Scott Greer.  The shooting happened in September 2007.  Defense attorneys call it a senseless accident. 

Jackson will be sentenced April 29th.  He could face anywhere from two to 20 years in prison.
