Bright opens new Downtown Montgomery office

MONTGOMERY, AL., -- Congressman Bobby Bright opened his new district office in Montgomery this week, moving from Eastern Boulevard to a downtown location. The new office is located at 22 Monroe Street.  The office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

"One of my proudest accomplishments as Mayor of Montgomery was revitalizing downtown," Bright said. "Moving my district office to downtown continues the great progress we've made and will give residents and workers more services in the area. I have an excellent district staff that is ready to serve the people of the Second District, and I encourage you to contact them about the services we can provide."

The district office can help constituents with government services, including disability, Medicare and Medicaid, Social Security, and veterans' benefits. It can also assist students with service academy nominations and help local businesses and governments access federal grants.

"Constituent services has been and will continue to be the highest priority for Congressman Bright and his staff," Congressman Bright's District Director Al Allenback said. "We fully believe that moving the office to downtown will help us better serve the Montgomery area and the entire Second District."
