Two polling locations dropped for election

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The montgomery County Election Office says that some voters' polling place will be changed for the upcoming special mayoral election.

Those who vote at Saint James United Methodist Church and Pike Road Volunteer Fire Department will now be voting at Grace Pointe Church on Ray Thorington Road.

The reason for the change, which is in effect for this election only, is because the other two locations are not technically within the city limits on Montgomery.

If you want to vote an important deadline is looming.

Thursday is the last day to register to vote absentee. All absentee ballots must be received by noon on election day, March 10, to be counted.
