The sky is mostly cloudy on this Friday afternoon, and all is quiet ahead of a busy weekend forecast... temperatures that started in the 50s earlier today have climbed into the 60s; while we cannot rule out a light shower, but most are dry today. Major changes are coming to our forecast, all thanks to a powerful cold front... we will continue to run the “window of opportunity” for severe weather from 10am-8pm. The early part of that time line favors far west Alabama with the latter part favoring east Alabama. It won’t rain throughout that entire period. Most locations will deal with an hour or two of rain & storms with generally quiet conditions surrounding that.
