Comfortable Friday, some rain Saturday?

A clear, comfortably cool night will usher in a warm, pleasant Friday. Expect a few more clouds tomorrow, but temperatures will still warm into the upper 70s to lower 80s. We can’t rule out a renegade sprinkle somewhere in Alabama, but significant rain is highly unlikely. A few scattered showers will crank up late Friday night, though, as a cold front approaches Alabama from the northwest. Scattered showers will move through central Alabama Saturday, but they will be decreasing in coverage as they move across the state. So, the rain chance will be higher north and west, lower south and east on Saturday. Noticeably cooler air arrives Saturday night as the rain ends; highs on Sunday will likely stay in the 60s, with mid 40s likely by Monday morning.
