MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - What a beautiful day Sunday was! Temperatures sat comfortably in the mid to upper 60s. Monday will be similar, but with a few showers possible later.
These overnight hours are cooling down to the low 40s, so it’s a bit chilly. Some patchy fog is out there as well, so keep that in mind before hitting the roads. After Monday’s cool start, temperatures will warm nicely to the upper 60s by the afternoon. One or two late afternoon and evening showers can’t be completely ruled out, but most of you will stay dry.
Starting Tuesday, our temperatures take a little bit of a tumble. From then through Friday, highs will struggle to reach the 60s each afternoon.
Thanksgiving is looking nice! The day will start in the 40s and gradually warm up to the low 60s throughout the afternoon. Rain chances are sparse.
Bundle up if heading out early to shop on Black Friday, as the morning will start in the mid 40s. By the afternoon, temperatures will try to reach 60 again, but we'll also be watching our next rain-maker approach.
Time of arrival of our next rain system is still uncertain. The window for rain right now is looking to be from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening. This means that you may need a poncho for the Iron Bowl. We’ll keep a close eye on it as the weekend approaches.
