SELMA, AL (WSFA) - The Moore-Stewart Ford and Honda locations in Selma are now part of the Long-Lewis Automotive Group.
Cover banners will go over the Moore-Stewart signs early Tuesday morning, Long-Lewis said in a release on Monday, adding that the official names of the Selma operations will be Long-Lewis of Selma.
Long-Lewis said it plans to remodel and expand the Ford dealership, adding a service and quick oil change facility.
The changes will create jobs, such as in sales and for auto technicians, Long-Lewis said, but the company didn’t offer specifics on the number of jobs expected to be added.
“We are very excited about this opportunity," said Beau Smith, president of Long-Lewis of Selma. “Rest assured that it will be anything but business as usual. Long-Lewis is by far the largest automotive retailer in the state, and we also have a deep history of customer and employee satisfaction."
