Christmas Day death ruled Montgomery homicide

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A homicide investigation has been opened following the Christmas Day death of a Montgomery man.
Montgomery police and Fire Medics responded to a call in the 4000 block of Twin Lakes Drive around 4 p.m. Tuesday where they found the body of Joshua Gentry, a 34-year-old Montgomery man.
The circumstances surrounding Gentry’s death weren’t initially known, but after a forensic evaluation, it was determined he was shot to death.
No arrests have been made and no other details about the case were available.
This is Montgomery’s 37th homicide of 2018.
