MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The big game is now just three days away. Alabama and Clemson will meet for the third time in the College Football Playoff National Championship game in four years.
Friday evening around 6 p.m. Pacific Standard time, Alabama arrived in California. The Crimson Tide will have a busy schedule ahead of them this weekend, including media day Saturday.
Alabama head coach Nick Saban will look to keep his team focused as Dabo Swinney’s Clemson squad will look to avenge last year’s 24-6 Sugar Bowl defeat.
Clemson will be led by freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence, while Alabama will trot out Heisman Runner-Up Tua Tagovailoa.
The No. 1 Crimson Tide and No. 2 Tigers will meet in Santa Clara’s Levi Stadium for part IV of the showdown Monday at 7 p.m. Central Standard Time. Monday’s national championship game will be televised on ESPN.
